Skandia Vet Lands at Domini

Social investment specialist Domini has added two senior executives to its ranks, according to Amy Domini. The new hires will head institutional sales and finance and compliance for the Boston-based firm. Domini's primary fund is a socially-screened index fund.

Peter Salts joins the firm to as director of finance and compliance. He was most recently a mutual fund controller at American Skandia Investment Services for its 31 mutual funds. American Skandia's fund business was purchased by Prudential earlier this year.

Salts was also a senior financial analyst for Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he oversaw and managed back-office financial operations for 51 mutual funds.

The new institutional sales head is Kyle J. Johnson, who spent the past four years at KLD Research & Analytics where he was chair of the Domini Social Index Committee. Johnson does not have a direct background in sales. He holds a master's degree in theological studies from Harvard Divinity School and a bachelor's degree in comparative religion from Harvard College.
