Wednesday, May 14, 2003 AFSS Adds TA Studies Hugh Herndon has joined The Academy of Financial Services Studies as an adjunct faculty member in its School of Accounting and Administrative Studies. Herndon will teach a course on transfer agency intended for mutual fund staffers, supervisors, managers and directors. Herndon will continue as the managing director of Strategic Initiative, a Cincinnati-based operations management consulting firm. "The Academy's partnership with Hugh will really broaden our overall curriculum and offer training and education to appeal to a wide range of mutual fund transfer agency and operations professionals," said Rochelle Lamm, chairman and CEO of The Academy of Financial Services Studies and Precision Marketing Partners, in a statement.
