Tuesday, July 29, 2003 GIS Adds Reporting Tools for Hedge Funds Global Investment Systems is adding reporting Web reporting tools for clients of users fund administration software. The Hackensack, New Jersey-based firm paired with CorrectNet to integrate the online reporting tools with its MFACT and MSHARE systems to create the GIS WebPortal. The reporting tools were built with CorrectNet's infiPOINT system. Peter Muldoon, director of client services at GIS, said the companies joined forces to create a comprehensive web reporting solution for hedge funds. "This integration between MFACT, MSHARE and CorrectNet's infiPOINT will greatly satisfy our clients' needs for web reporting," he said. The tools will allow hedge funds using MFACT and MSHARE provide their fund managers and investors with Web-delivered fund information that include with charts and graphs. Administrators and others will be able to drill down to a transactional level of detail for information about portfolio holdings, financial statements, trial balances, and shareholder investments. Fund level performance will be available historically, along with PDF statements, letters, and other fund manager and shareholder specific information.
