Tuesday, March 14, 2017 Morgan Stanley Promotes a Model Portfolio Exec Lisa Shalett will now serve has head of wealth management investment resources at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, a spokesperson for Morgan Stanley confirms.
She takes over the role for Mike Wilson, who was recently named U.S. chief equity strategist. Wilson also serves as chief investment officer of wealth management and institutional securities. In addition to assuming responsibilities for the new role, Shalett will continue to serve as head of investment and portfolio strategies, overseeing due diligence for traditional and alternative products. Shalett has been with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management for over three and a half years. Prior to that, she served as CIO at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, and before that she held various executive roles over twelve years at AllianceBernstein.
