Wednesday, April 12, 2017 A Philly Fund Firm Fosters Thinking, Farm Style Global asset management firm SEI has renovated a historical farm into its 'IdeaFarm' that plans to cultivate innovative thinking and showcase SEI's cultural heritage for all SEI employees to use.
However, the farm has remained SEI's vacant neighbor for the past five years, which was what sparked the minds of the innovative team at SEI to renovate it. Equipped with contemporary furniture, and visually stimulating decor, the farm "is not a space to stare at a powerpoint, it's a place to co-design," Russ Kliman, head of strategic programs and innovation for SEI, tells MFWire. All employees at SEI may book spaces at the IdeaFarm for strategy idealization sessions, hack-a-thons, platform collaboration experiences, or selective corporate events; and may use the touch-screen white boards, and wireless projection services available. Kliman also adds that there are manual toys like Play-Doh, Legos, and/or Rubik’s cubes along with an outdoor swing to "remove inhibitions, awake your inner child and stimulate thinking outside of comfort zones." Since the debut on March 27, 2017, space reservations for April are already filling up. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=56024 Copyright 2017, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
