Monday, July 2, 2018 Vanguard Cuts More Fees Vanguard has found a way to cut fees even further. Starting in August, online transactions for more than 1,800 ETF's, will be commission-free. That's nearly every ETF Vanguard offers, with the exception of risky or speculative ETF's, which will continue to charge a commission. "We've driven down the costs of funds. We’ve driven down the cost of advice. Now, we’re driving down the cost of investing in ETFs," said Karin Risi, managing director of the retail investor group at Vanguard, in a statement. Vanguard has offered commision-free trades on all 77 of its ETFs since 2010. While every trade on a Vanguard ETF is commission free, this new program only cuts the commision for online transactions. Phone transactions will still have a commission. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=58290 Copyright 2018, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
