The Ladenburg Thalmann broker-dealer's event will continue throughout the week, wrapping up on Thursday. On Friday Barry Miller, associate director of disclosure review and accounting in the division of investment management at the SEC, will retire after more than 30 years at the regulatory agency. Also on Friday, Jane Jarcho, deputy director of the SEC's office of compliance inspections and examinations (OCIE), will retire after more than 28 years at the regulatory agency. Kristin Snyder is rising to deputy director of OCIE. Next Monday MFWire's offices will be closed in observance of the Labor Day market holiday.
