Monday, January 27, 2020 Week In Preview, January 27-February 2 Today informa's annual Inside ETFs conference continues at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. The four-day event began yesterday.
Also today, Chip Roame (managing partner of Tiburon Strategic Advisors) , Scott Hanson (co-CEO of Hanson McClain), and Craig Wietz (president of First Rate) will co-lead Tiburon Impact Adventure 4.0. This time, the two-day service trip will go to San Antonio Del Mar, Mexico to build a home for a family in need. Tomorrow, the Mutual Fund Directors Forum (MFDF) team will kick off their 2020 Directors' Institute. The sold-out, three-day event will be held at Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. Also tomorrow, the Fixed Income Analysts Society, Inc. (FIASI) team will host a panel discussion on the private credit market. The evening event will be held at the Cornell Club in New York City and is part of the organization's monthly speaker series. On Wednesday morning, before the market opens, the Invesco team will release their Q4 2019 earnings report, and management will host an earnings call. Also on Wednesday, the Legg Mason team will release their fiscal Q3 2020 earnings report in the afternoon, after the market closes. Management will host an earnings call shortly thereafter. On Thursday morning, before the market opens, the team at Franklin Templeton's parent, Franklin Resources, will release their fiscal Q1 2020 earnings report. Management will host an earnings in the late morning. Also on Thursday, the team at Federated Investors will release their Q4 2019 earnings report in the afternoon, after the market closes. Management will host an earnings call on Friday morning, before the market opens. The nomination deadline for Barron's inaugural 100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance list has been extended to Friday. (The deadline had originally been scheduled for January 15.) Also on Friday, in the morning, before the market opens, the Virtus team will release their Q4 earnings report. Management will host an earnings call after the market opens.
