BlackRock's [profile] senior leadership told their team, via a memo sent on Monday, that until the end of the year everyone in the company will be able to choose between working from home, working in an office, or mixing the two options, Bloomberg reports. The New York City-based firm has more than 16,000 employees around the world. As of June 30, the firm had about $7.318 trillion in AUM.

The memo, reports P&I, was from BlackRock COO Rob Goldstein, chief security officer Lawrence Knafo, and global HR chief Manish Mehta.

"Given the uncertainty in many of our locations and to help you plan ahead, we will continue providing all employees the option of working from home for the rest of 2020," the trio reportedly wrote. "When your office is available for use, you can decide to work from the office, work from home or split your time between the two."
