Wednesday, September 2, 2020 After 13 Years, an AllianzGI Director Moves On A 13-year Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) veteran is moving on. Martha Douvogiannis, director of product development and strategy, left the multinational mutual fund firm last month, a company spokesperson confirms. Douvogiannis was based in AllianzGi's U.S. HQ in New York City. Khushbu Gupta, director and head of product development in the U.S. at AllianzGI, did not immediately return a call for comment. Douvogiannis' departure comes as Virtus is adopting much of AllianzGI's U.S. retail asset management business. A Barnard College of Columbia University and the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business graduate, Douvogiannis served at AllianzGI for nearly 13 years in a variety of roles, including: director, product development ands strategy, global product strategy; director, head of product strategy; and director, product manager, product management and strategy. Prior, she served as director of investor relations and business development at Whitebeam Capital. Before that, Douvogiannis worked at Citigroup Equity Research and at BofA Securities.
