Friday, November 21, 2003 Fund Takes Life Changes Into Account Helping retail investors diversify their mutual fund investments according to their situation is at the heart of Jackson-Mississippi-based Trustmark Investors' Performance LifeStyle Series, according to Doug Ralston, president. "A lot of other lifestyle funds have a static diversification where (for example) you’re forever in a 60-40 mix," he said. "We go in and adjust allocation by the fluctuations in the market when necessary." The Performance Advisor Lifestyle series offers investors three porfolios: aggressive, moderate and conservative. Each porfolio includes funds from the Performance Funds family, which is advised by Trustmark Investment Advisors Inc. The Performance Fund Family includes six equity, bond and money market funds. The portfolio will be managed by Ralston and is available in Class C shares. Theresa Scheel, vice president, said the funds would be marketed and distributed through the company's parent, Trustmark Bank, to better serve clients. "We want to provide the professional resources that our wealth managment clients get to our retail clients," she said. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=6237 Copyright 2003, InvestmentWires, Inc.
