Thursday, May 26, 2022 MassMutual Doubles Down On a Familiar Ally to Fundsters The former parent of OpFunds is doubling down on its bet on an ally to fundsters.
MassMutual's investment in Kudu comes after the firm closed a nine-figure credit facility with MassMutual. So far, Kudu, has raised more than $800 million in equity and debt capital. Four-year-old Kudu has so far invested (as a minority shareholder) in 17 firms in the asset and wealth management industries. (Four of those investments have been made in the last 12 months, Jakacki confirms.) Those firms collectively managed about $65 billion in assets as of March 31. "We're delighted to enhance our relationship with Kudu and to support its continued growth," Titolo states. "We look forward to working with Kudu's portfolio companies."
