Thursday, March 4, 2004 Fund Drops 12b-1 The Gabelli ABC Fund, which began investment operations in 1993, has never had a down year. The only things declining at the fund have been the fees it charges. In response fund’s investment advisor, Gabelli Funds, LLC, recommended the elimination of the plan. Gabelli & Company, Inc. has waived the 25 basis point fees of its 12b-1 distribution plan since January 1, 2003, and now the board of directors has approved the elimination of the 12b-1 distribution plan altogether. A spokesperson for Gabelli was not immediately available for comment on the elimination of the fee. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=6775 Copyright 2004, InvestmentWires, Inc.
