A veteran fundster operations leader in Beantown is saying goodbye, passing the reins to a colleague from across the pond.

Parminder Fells
Morgan Stanley Investment Management
Managing Director, EMEA Head of Investment Management Operations
Larry Fahey is retiring from Morgan Stanley Investment Management [profile], MFWire has learned. Boston-based Fahey served as global head of fund services and performance, and MFWire has learned that Fahey's duties and responsibilities at MSIM will be handled by Parminder Fells, MSIM's London-based EMEA head of investment management operations.

A Morgan Stanley spokesperson declined to comment.

Word is that Fahey's last day at MSIM was Monday (March 2).

"I'm incredibly grateful to the outstanding teams, colleagues, service partners, and friends who made this journey so remarkable and unforgettable. I've been fortunate to work with some of the very best our industry has to offer, and I will always value the relationships and experiences we've shared," Fahey writes in a LinkedIn post. "I'm excited and optimistic about the next chapter and all that it holds."

Fahey first joined Eaton Vance in 2002, and he shifted to MSIM after Morgan Stanley bought Eaton Vance in 2021. Earlier, Fahey worked at State Street Research and Fidelity. He is an alumnus of Bentley University.

Fells joined Morgan Stanley in 2020 after working with Deutsche Bank (twice), Barclays, Credit Suisse, and Ernst & Young. She is an alumna of the University of Warwick.
