Thursday, July 1, 2004 Janus Names Worldwide Fund Manager Jason Yee takes over as manager of the Janus Worldwide Fund for Laurence Chang, effective Thursday. Yee, a veteran of the firm for eight years, is also the portfolio manager for the Janus Global Opportunities Fund, Janus Adviser, Janus Aspen Series, and the Janus World Funds. Reporting to Yee two assistant portfolio managers, including Doug Kirkpatrick and Gregory Kolb, and six analysts. Chang, who is leaving the firm, will remain at Janus for the next few weeks to aid with the transition. The Worldwide Fund had $9 billion in total assets at the end of May.
