Thursday, July 15, 2004 State Street Research Promotes Two in Retail Sales Jenine Garrelick was promoted to head of retail national accounts at State Street Research, the asset manager announced in mid-June. Garrelick will maintain and expanding distribution relationships on the retail side, as well as assist in sales planning. She reports to Tom Holland, managing director and head of State Street Research's retail business. Taking her place as East Coast regional sales director is William Crouch. Crouch will be responsible for managing the company's East Coast wholesaling team. He reports to Ira Hasson, director of national sales. Crouch will likely look for someone to replace his position on the team that he now manages, said Alyson Riley, State Street Research spokeswoman. Riley was not able to find out where Crouch was in the hiring process by deadline. Before his promotion, Crouch was a senior regional vice president, responsible for distributing mutual funds, 401(k) products and separate accounts to broker-dealers in the Boston metropolitan area.
