Prudential aims to hire at least 25 people "over time"
for that channel, Rice said in an interview on the sidelines of Prudential's Market and Retirement Outlook press briefing Tuesday morning at the Thomson Reuters Building in Times Square.
Currently, that channel is covered by hybrid wholesalers.
Meanwhile, Prudential is preparing to rebrand the JennisonDryden family to
Prudential Investments. As previously reported by
The MFWire, the change
will take place around February 16.
Prudential is working on ads to promote the new name of the fund family, Rice said.
