The SEC and the New York Attorney General have subpoenaed Credit Suisse First Boston, the asset manager's parent company disclosed in a Monday SEC filing.

According to Credit Suisse Group, the subpoena and requests for information are "part of the industry-wide investigation relating to the practices of mutual funds and their customers."

"Current and former affiliates" were the targets of the subpoenas and requests for information.
