George McKay was named executive director of Mellon Financial's Investment Manager Solutions (IMS) group, according to a press release

As executive director, McKay will oversee Mellon's international IMS business as well as manage Mellon's non-North American transfer agency, fund accounting and fund outsourcing services.

McKay was previously the Asia manager for JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management's funds.

"We see rising demand in Europe for the results we are able to bring to this market," said Jack Klinck, vice chairman and president of IMS.
