Putnam Investments has tapped
Jenny Morton as managing director and director of consultant relations and institutional products for Putnam Global Institutional Management's alliance team in Asia and Australia.
Morton is based in the firm's Tokyo office and reports to
Jeffrey Peters, managing director, head of Putnam's alliance business, and
Toshio Nagashima, managing director and general manager of Putnam's Tokyo office.
Morton is responsible for consultant relations throughout Asia and Australia, and institutional business development in Japan. One of her primary areas of focus will be working closely with Putnam's alliance partner, Nissay Asset Management, with whom Putnam has renewed its contract last June for an another five years, according to Peters.
Most recently, Morton was senior vice president, head of global consultant relations at Fidelity Investments. She previously served as head of consultant relations at Boston Partners Asset Management.
