Turner Investment Partners has hired Michelle A. Benner as director in the intermediary distribution team. Benner, who previously served as Southeast regional sales director at SEI Investments, will provide investment sales and client-service support to financial advisers and bank wealth-management units.

Michelle A. Benner has been appointed a director in the Intermediary Distribution Team at Turner Investment Partners, an investment firm that manages more than $23 billion in growth, value, and core stocks on behalf of institutions and individuals.

In this position Ms. Benner, 42, provides investment sales and client-service support to financial advisers and bank wealth-management units in the Intermediary Distribution Team’s 25-state Eastern region. Headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, Turner is employee-owned and was founded in 1990.

Ms. Benner is based in Berwyn and reports to John P. Lehning, managing director of the Intermediary Distribution Team and a principal of the firm.

Ms. Benner previously served as the Southeast regional sales director in the asset-management business at SEI Investments.

A native of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, she earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology at Bloomsburg University in 1986. She lives in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
