The shaky market has prompted investors to withdraw $627 million from emerging-market stock funds for the week ended Tuesday, this is in addition to the $2 billion removed the week before.
Bloomberg, citing data from Emerging Fund Portfolio Research Inc., reports that the beneficiaries of the shift to safer assets are money-market accounts and large-company U.S. equities.
