The news media is still abuzz with Fidelity gossip. Two articles published today, one from Reuters and one from the The Boston Herald, collected opinions on Peter Lynch's future from veteran Fidelity watchers. John Bonnanzio, group editor for the independent Fidelity Insight newsletter tells the Herald that while the scandal will be a blemish on Lynch's record, the fund superstar has done a lot of good during his career. Jim Lowell, editor of independent newsletter Fidelity Investor, told Reuters that while the scandal was no doubt an embarrassment for Fidelity, it does not have much significance beyond that.
