Sentinel is Hiring for Two New Posts

Sentinel Investments is actively searching for two new positions after Bruce Hoffmann's promotion to the newly created role of chief marketing officer of Sentinel Financial Services Company.

A Sentinel spokesperosn told The MFWire that Hoffmann's old position of director of marketing will be split into two new roles: director of marketing communications and director of interactive marketing, both of which the company is hiring for.

In his new position, Hoffman will oversee brand management, Web-based and interactive strategies, and advertising for Sentinel.

MONTPELIER, VT (May 23, 2008) - Sentinel Investments, the investment management arm of Vermont-based National Life Group, announced today that Bruce Hoffmann has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer for Sentinel Financial Services Company. Hoffmann has oversight of brand management, Web-based and interactive strategies, and advertising for Sentinel. Additionally, he is responsible for strategic planning and development of marketing and shareholder communication efforts related to Sentinel's mutual funds, institutional accounts and variable insurance portfolios.

Prior to joining Sentinel in February of 2007, Hoffmann served as vice president and head of U.S. institutional marketing for T. Rowe Price. He has also held top marketing and communications posts at Waddell & Reed and Banc of America Capital Management. He received his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Northeastern University.
