Direxion Funds gains a plug in
Friday's WSJ Fund Track column. The column focus on the growing interest among investors in oil and commodities. Direxion is meeting the demand with the two-week-old Commodity Trends Strategy Fund (DXCTX). The fund is unique in that it offers both long and short exposure to the commodity market and is managed by
Paul Brigandi. The open-end fund tracks the S&P CTI Index. "Our job is to track it effectively and make sure the fund generates the return of the index," Brigandi tells the paper.
