Durham, North Carolina-based Piedmont Investment Advisors has launched its first mutual fund. The Triangle Business Journal reports that the company launched the Corverus Fund in response to a request from a "major institutional investor." Coverus' target audience will be institutional and high-net-worth individual investors and retail customers.
