The ICI spent a pretty penny on lobbying efforts in Q2. The AP reports that the fund industry's biggest lobbying organization spent $1.4 million on its efforts in Q2. Topics the group took up in Q2 included legislation related to mutual fund fees, municipal bonds, corporate executives' compensation, retirement funds and pensions and taxes.
