American Funds parent Capital Group is expanding its Carmel, Indiana offices. IndyStar.com reports that by 2010 the company plans to transfer 650 employees from its Indianapolis offices to Carmel and also plans to expand those offices as well. In addition, Cap Group will build two new buildings in Carmel.

A hiring campaign is also in the works at the company. A spokeswoman for the company told the pub that between now and when the 650 employees move to their new offices, the company will hire more associates.
