In Monday's Wall Street Journal's special report, "Investing in Funds: A Monthly Analysis," Allison Bisbey Colter gives the Federated Target ETFs, the Seligman TargETFunds and PowerShares some ink, comparing funds of ETFs, and ETFs of ETFs, with their pure mutual fund and pure ETF brethren. ETF Guide.com founder Simon Maierhofer told Colter that funds of ETFs 'nullify' the tax advantages of exchange-traded funds.
