Fidelity handed the reins of the $6.2 billion
Fidelity Growth & Income Portfolio
to 12-year company veteran
James Catudal, according to an
announcement
posted on Fidelity's Web site. Catudal succeeds
Timothy Cohen at the helm
of the fund.
Reuters notes that the fund fell 50.9 percent last year, compared with a 37-drop by the Standard & Poor's 500 index.
Catudal will continue to run the
Fidelity Advisor Growth & Income, the
VIP Growth & Income Portfolio and
Stock Selector Fund.
He previously worked at State Street Research and Management as an equity analyst.
