Fidelity has appointed new portfolio managers for three of its funds. Stephen Petersen became the manager of the Fidelity Equity-Income II Fund, succeeding Robert Chow. Steven Calhoun took over as manager of the Fidelity Mid Cap Growth Fund, replacing Patrick Venanzi. Steven Wymer took the reins of the Fidelity Advisor Growth Opportunities Fund and VIP Growth Opportunities Portfolio, succeeding John Porter III.

The changes took effect January 23, according to Fidelity's Web site.
