Putnam Lovell may announce a buyer for the firm as early as the end of this week, reports the New York Post. The firm has been on the block since last year, according to sources (see, Fund Banker on the Block, Feb. 8, 2002). The paper reports that Putnam Lovell is in "advanced negotiations" with National Bank of Canada.
