MetLife Investors has named Ed Wilson to the post of executive vice president of the wirehouse channel. Prior to this promotion, Wilson was executive vice president of the broker/dealer channel. He has been with the firm since May 29, 2001 when he joined it from
New York Life.
Wilson's successor in his old post will be Les Sutherland. Sutherland comes to MetLife from
American Skandia where he was vice president and divisional sales manager for the Eastern United States.
"We are pleased Les has joined MetLife Investors as he has substantial industry experience and is
positioned to help us with the growth of the franchise," stated Greg Brakovich,
co-ceo of MetLife Investors, in a statement.
