The Bisys Group has purchased insurance broker Harrison James Group to boost its wholesale distribution of traditional and variable life insurance, and annuities. Bisys said the pickup fits its strategy of expanding its national network of independent agents, financial planners, stockbrokers, and broker-dealers that it supports. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
