Artisan Crafts its 12th Fund

Artisan Partners Limited Partnership just unveiled its 12th fund. On Monday the Milwaukee-based firm launched Artisan Global Equity with a 150 basis-point expense ratio. Mark Yockey (portfolio manager of Artisan International Fund and Artisan International Small Cap Fund) and Barry Dargan (formerly portfolio manager of MFS International Growth Fund and co-manager of MFS Global Growth Fund) serve as the new fund's co-managers.

Boston Financial Data Services serves as the fund's transfer agent.

MILWAUKEE, Mar 29, 2010 -- Artisan Funds announced today the launch of Artisan Global Equity Fund (ARTHX), co-managed by Mark Yockey and Barry Dargan. Mr. Yockey is the portfolio manager of Artisan International Fund and Artisan International Small Cap Fund. Mr. Dargan recently joined Artisan from MFS(R) Investment Management where he was a managing director, portfolio manager of MFS International Growth Fund and portfolio co-manager of MFS Global Growth Fund.

Mr. Yockey, leader of Artisan's global equity team, will work with Mr. Dargan to manage and develop the new global equity strategy. The duo will be supported by Artisan's deep and highly experienced global equity analyst team.
