Word that Morningstar will create its own version of 529 plan ratings is one tidbit coming out of the fund tracker and researchers advisor conference taking place this week in Chicago.
The ratings will be released later this fall, reported the
Wall Street Journal.
Currently the sole source of detailed information on 529 programs comes from Bankrate's
