Ex-Janus Exec Takes the CEO Job at Scout

Scout Investment Advisors [see profile] has hired Andrew Iseman as CEO. Iseman, a former chief operating officer at Janus Capital Group, was most recently COO of RK Capital Management. The MutualFundWire reported on Scout's CEO search in November of last year [see article]

Iseman will report to Peter deSilva, president and chief operating officer of UMB Financial, of which Scout is a subsidiary.

Iseman will start at Scout on August 30 and will relocate with his family to Kansas City.

He will work closely with the management team, which includes Scout Investment Advisors president and chief investment officer William Greiner and Gary DiCenzo, president and chief executive officer of Scout Distributors.

Scout Investment Advisors Hires Andrew Iseman as Chief Executive Officer

KANSAS CITY, Mo.---Scout Investment Advisors, Inc., (Scout) a wholly owned subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Iseman as chief executive officer. Iseman will be responsible for leading all facets of Scout Investment Advisors including the setting of overall strategic direction, investment management, sales and distribution, client services, operations and compliance.

"Andy is a proven, successful leader in the investment management industry. He possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that will prove very beneficial to Scout. We will be relying on Andy to help us accelerate the growth of Scout over the coming years," said Peter deSilva, president and chief operating officer, UMB Financial Corporation. Iseman will report directly to deSilva.

Iseman has more than 23 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry. In his previous role, Iseman served as chief operating officer for RK Capital Management in Denver. Prior to that, Andy served as chief operating officer for Janus Capital Group and in other significant leadership positions for numerous Janus subsidiaries.

Iseman will work closely with the existing management team, which includes William Greiner, president and chief investment officer of Scout Investment Advisors and Gary DiCenzo, president and chief executive officer of Scout Distributors, LLC.

Iseman holds a Master's in Business Administration from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rockhurst University. He also serves on the board of trustees for Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust in Denver. Iseman will assume his position with SIA on August 30 and will be relocating his family to Kansas City.
