Morningstar has expanded its reach, with USAToday.com placing the Chicago-based research firm's mutual fund data on its Web site. The inclusion of Morningstar data forms part of the redesign of USAToday.com's mutual fund and ETF pages.

Site vistors who enter fund names or ticker symbols in the quote box will see figures from Morningstar, including its star ratings.

Interactive Data, a redistributor of Morningstar data, sealed the contract with USAToday.com.
