To find new mutual funds for intrepid investors WSJ reporter Tom Lauricella turns over overseas rocks. His column in the paper's quarterly mutual fund roundup looks at foreign bond funds priced in local currencies.

His travels are less out of the way than one may think: Pimco Emerging Local Bond has added $3.7 billion in AUM this year alone (it now claims $4.7 billion in AUM, up from $1 billion).
