Northern Trust's global fund services business recently hired Paul Fahey as director of global product management and development. Fahey joined the Chicago firm in April and reports to Paul d'Ouville, global head of product management.

Fahey's post is new, company spokesman John O'Connell told The MFWire.com.

Previously, Fahey was global product manager for the investor services unit of State Street Bank & Trust Company.
