Reuters' Ross Kerber
reports that, according to
Stephen Lewis (chairman of the
RiverSource funds' board), Columbia parent
Ameriprise will say goodbye to Carlson and two other board members (out of 12), as a Columbia mutual fund board and a RiverSource one merge.
According to Reuters, Lewis will chair the combined RiverSource/Columbia mutual fund board and the former Columbia mutual fund chair will lead the combined board's governance committee.
The article also discusses mutual fund board member pay for Columbia and RiverSource.
