Gregory S. Nassour is the new portfolio manager of the Vanguard Variable Insurance Fund - Short Term Portfolio.

The Valley Forge, Pennsylvania-based fund giant said today that Nassour joined Robert F. Auwaerter as a portfolio manager for the fund in July. He has been part of Vanguard's Fixed Income Group since 1994.
