International users of
Morningstar fund data will soon be able to find the Chicago fund trackers' data on their local MSN Money Web site. Morningstar cut a deal with
Microsoft to add the date to nine MSN Money sites.
The data will be carried on MSN Money in Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, said
Chris Jolley, director of marketing for the Financial Products Group at Microsoft.
Morningstar began providing mutual fund data to MSN Money's U.S.-based Web site in 1997.
"Mutual funds continue to gain in popularity around the globe, and there is a growing need for comprehensive, independent, and reliable information," said Joe Mansueto, founder, chairman, and CEO of Morningstar. "During the past three years, we've introduced Morningstar investment information to 17 international markets, including Europe, Asia, and Australia."
