UNX has landed a Fidelity veteran to head its product development. The New York City-based firm said that Jeff Brown will take the title of director of Product Development and report directly to Randy Abernethy, CEO of UNX.

He will oversee the strategic development of UNX's direct access trading platform.

Brown was most recently a senior equity strategist in charge of product development and design for the institutional brokerage division of Fidelity's capital markets group.
