Franklin Templeton Investments has rolled out the Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Real Return Fund [ prospectus]

Thomas A. Nelson and Tony Coffey are the lead PMs, with the broader Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Strategies ("FTMAS") group providing support.

Expense ratios are 130 basis poinsts for A shares, 200 bps for C shares, 150 bps for R shares and 100 bps for Advisor class shares.

The fund predominantly invests in other Franklin Templeton and Mutual Series funds. It also invests some assets directly in TIPs and includes allocations to s to Franklin Pelagos Commodities Strategy Fund and Franklin Pelagos Managed Futures Strategy Fund.

FTMAS chief investment officer Brent Smith called the new product "an important addition to FTMAS' diverse range of outcome-oriented investment solutions, including the Franklin Templeton Global Allocation Fund launched late last year, and our long-established target date and target risk funds."
