Joseph Altobelli is the new chief financial officer for PineBridge Mutual Funds -- and also its old CFO. He resumed his former role as chief financial officer and treasurer of the mutual fund firm last month, with the resignation of Mark Kadzielawski.

Altobelli was elected on May 16, and the change was announced in an SEC filing.

The company declined to comment on the change, and could provide no further information on Altobelli or Kadzielawski.

PineBridge Mutual Funds' former parent, AIG, sold the firm to Pacific Century Group in 2010.

PineBridge also announced earlier this month that it plans to liquidate two of its mutual funds.

PineBridge manages $67 billion in assets.
