Cook & Bynum Picks Up BHIL Distributors

Cook & Bynum Capital Management has selected BHIL Distributors — the affiliated broker-dealer of Beacon Hill Fund Services — to provide principal underwriting and distribution services to The Cook & Bynum Fund.

Cook & Bynum Capital Management is an independent Birmingham, Alabama-based money manager. Meanwhile, Beacon Hill provides management and support services to investment managers, as well as CCO, CFO and distribution services to registered advisors and investment company products.

“We look to Beacon Hill not only for Principal Underwriter and Distributor services, but we will also be drawing on their expertise related to distribution support, their knowledge of the trading platforms and for their distribution partners to help us grow the fund,” stated Ashley Morris, director of the mutual funds, in a press release.  “Beacon Hill’s proactive consultative approach to advertising and sales literature review was also an important part of our decision to partner with them.”

Columbus, Ohio – August 1, 2012  Beacon Hill Fund Services, Inc. announced today that Cook & Bynum Capital Management, LLC has selected BHIL Distributors, Inc., the affiliated broker-dealer of Beacon Hill, to provide Principal Underwriter and Distribution services to The Cook & Bynum Fund. (Ticker: COBYX)  Cook & Bynum Capital Management is an independent, employee-owned money manager based in Birmingham, Alabama that invests with a pure value philosophy.
