Look out for American Stock Transfer & Trust Company in the West Coast. The provider of proxy and governance advisory solutions for mutual funds and closed-end funds has announced today that it has opened its San Francisco office.

The office will be led by Josh McGinn, senior VP of western region relationship management. It will provide relationship support to clients, IPOs and consultative services for clients in the west coast region.

"San Francisco is the right choice for our next office location,” stated president and CEO Mark Healy in a company press statement. “We are fully committed to providing an industry-leading customer experience, and we are executing this goal through continued investments in people, technology and operations across North America.”

AST Announces Opening of San Francisco Office

NEW YORK--American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, LLC (AST) announced today the opening of its San Francisco office. The office will be led by Josh McGinn, Senior Vice President of Western Region Relationship Management and will provide relationship support to clients, initial public offerings and consultative services for clients in the west coast region.

Over the past two years, AST has expanded into major markets throughout North America and added new services, including investor relations services, shareholder identification, asset recovery, investment management solutions and proxy and governance advisory solutions for corporations, mutual funds and closed-end fund managers.

Through AST’s sister company, AST Investor Services, LLC, the company also provides investors a self-directed online brokerage offering with greater investment choices and robust financial research, transactional capabilities and planning tools.
