Obama's reelection and this summer's Supreme Court ruling have confirmed that the Affordable Care Act will survive — and
the Wall Street Journal reports that this could be good news for healthcare mutual funds.
WSJ reporter Daisy Maxey spoke with a handful of advisors who think that Obama's victory "removed much of the uncertainty that surrounded the sector," leading investors to "plow" their money into health care funds.
Maxey draws attention to a few funds: the
Vanguard Health Care Fund, the
T. Rowe Price Health Sciences Fund,
Invesco Global Health Care Fund,
iShares Dow Jones U.S. Healthcare Sector Index, and the
Janus Global Life Sciences Fund.
There's plenty more red meat for the healthcare fund obsessive in the
full story.
