Company Press Release

BROWN BROTHERS HARRIMAN LAUNCHES ETF CONNECT™, SUITE OF ETF-SPECIFIC PRODUCTS TO STREAMLINE OPERATIONS

?Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) has announced the launch of its new suite of exchange-traded fund (ETF) specific products, ETF Connect™, where ETF sponsors, Authorized Participants (APs), and BBH (Administrator and Custodian) can manage ETF operations through a single platform.

“In our ongoing efforts to personalize the client experience, we are pleased to introduce ETF Connect as a central gateway for information and tools for our ETF relationships,” says Shawn McNinch, Global Head of ETF Services at Brown Brothers Harriman. “Our clients are now able to access ETF-specific tools and reports via a single portal, which enables them to more effectively manage their business.”

Through ETF Connect, users have the ability to access new and enhanced ETF products including the recently launched APEX™(AP Exchange).

APEX, specifically built for ETFs, provides workflow automation based on client specified creation / redemption order requirements which take place between the ETF sponsor, APs and BBH.    Further, the tool supports custom baskets, as well as restricted securities at time of order placement. APEX is fully integrated with BBH’s global custody, accounting and Transfer Agency (TA) systems to enable streamlined and efficient processing of transactions.

“ETF Connect demonstrates our commitment to this strategically important and fast growing market" said Seán Páircéir, Partner in Investor Services. “We believe that the continued development of this portal will enhance our differentiated and market leading suite of ETF services.”

? “ETF Connect is a great example of the innovation that BBH brings in partnership with our clients to streamline their operations by centralizing connectivity points to BBH. Our goal as a service provider is to increase our clients’ efficiencies allowing them to focus on their priorities. ETF Connect is a testament to this goal,” stated Rick Berk, Partner of Investor Services’ Product Management group.
